What needs to be done to have the best team? It is one of the questions that I have asked myself from the moment we embarked on this adventure. I have made sure to surround myself with people, who above all are good people. This is the first reason we have always contracted people. You can only work happily with good people. And this is easy to do. And I have a small trick. I ask myself, could I be friends with this person? If the answer is yes, I am on the right track to making a good team.

Another thing you have to do is make sure that the people around you have knowledge and are trained. This is important, but also that this person wants to learn with you and wants to grow so that each time the work has a better result. Nobody is born with knowledge, and we all have to learn and the best thing of all is, when you think you know something, you realise you still have so much to learn.

Give security to those around you. I don’t understand temporary contracts. I don’t understand companies who are systematically contracting and firing employees to save something, I’m not sure how much, but it turns out to be very expensive, because showing people how you work and when they know it, get rid of them is absurd and unfair. Absurd and unfair.

A good atmosphere at work.Good humour, flexibility with timetables and a fair salary make people work well, with enthusiasm and good will. So when your team comes to work with you they do it gladly, going somewhere where the people around them are “happy”. You cannot be happy in life if you are not happy at work. We are the only known living creatures of the universe that have to work. There has to be flexibility. The important thing is that the work gets done. If you can do it in 1 hour, why do it in 3? Why is the timetable shown on the contract? If the work is done, and in less time, better for everyone. With a fair salary, generous if possible.
