A few weeks ago Dr. José Francisco Salvador, my friend and teacher, offered me the chance to work with him on a very interesting project in the Hospital Quirón in Torrevieja.

Dr. Salvador has created a new unit of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine in the Hospital Quirón in Torrevieja. As many of you will know, the Quirón group is currently the best private hospital group in the country. Dozens of hospitals all over the country with thousands of doctors working for them. The result is a very strong, cutting edge group in technology and procedures within private medicine.

The Hospital Quirón in Torrevieja is a Hospital which I already knew well. When I was a first and second year resident, on various occasions in surgery I helped Dr. Mario Marquezwho had and continues to have a private consultation within the Hospital. I have good memories because Dr. Márquez showed me many things which have served me during my professional career. These were details that can only be learned through experience and he taught me with much love which I hereby appreciate. Additionally, thanks to him, the rotation in the Clínica Planas in Barcelona was much easier for me.

I am very excited about this new project. I will continue to tell you about the advances and the development of it over the months to come.
