“I have no lips. Can you see?” More and more frequently I see people in my consultation who do not want more lips, but simply do not have any. Well the truth is that these patients do have lips, but they have very fine lips, this is the way they describe the volume.

It is very easy to enhance nice lips and make them look good. When we have a very pretty patient in the consultation, it is very easy for the result to be good as the combination is already very good. When something doesn’t exist, to recreate it, ‘create it’ or reconstruct it, is more difficult. The technique has to be more precise and adjusted. And above all we need to speak to the patient a great deal to know exactly want they desire and explain to them what can be done and what cannot be done so that she does not have false expectations and we do not believe in them.
