The ageing of the face

Over time and of course with ageing the properties of our skin change. The collagen, which are the columns of the skin, and the elastic fibres it contains start to degrade. Also our body does not generate as much hyaluronic acid (the cement which gives consistency to the skin) like when we were young. As these two things happen together, the skin starts to lose, bit by bit, its elasticity, its hydration, its succulence, its quality.

There are various reasons. The first and most powerful are habits. Do not smoke. This should be in capital letters. Tobacco is the skin’s worst enemy. The worst of all. As well as skin cancer, it provokes an enormous dryness and ageing. Because of this, the first thing is to give up smoking. The second is the sun. The sun damagewhich can be produced due to prolonged exposure without adequate protection can provoke as well as skin cancer, the rapid loss of its properties.

But there is a part that we cannot control which are the genetics. Not long ago we were with the mother of an Italian friend who at 84 years old, does not have wrinkles! It was incredible! Upon technically analysing her we noticed that she actually had skin laxity, and logically a fallen neck. But with no wrinkles on her forehead, brow, nor crow’s feet. Not one on the ‘bar code’. This can only be explained by her intrinsic characteristics.

But this is only the exception. The rule is very different. We cannot stop time, but the advances in cosmetic medicine and the solutions it gives us offer us even safer and more efficient treatments, which in good hands, ensure excellent results.

Recuperate the hydration of the skin, improve its structure and elasticity, as well as filling the wrinkles and restoring the volume is easy.

We cannot ask for more.
