Logically it depends on the type of work the patient has. It is important to avoid stressful situations after a surgery as it increases the possibility of bleeding. If you work in front of a computer for many hours, seven days is usually enough. On many occasions in three or four days you can return to work.

After the surgery you will be irritated. It will not be pain, but irritation. You will have the sensation of tension and dryness of the skin. The scar of an upper blepharoplasty coincides with the natural fold of the upper eyelids and after a few days it is practically imperceptible. You should avoid taking aspirin or any other medication which provokes anticoagulation. Let us know if you usually take vitamin supplements or medicinal plants. Some make the blood coagulate more slowly.
You should lubricate the eye before going to sleep with a cream and also drops.
In general, we recommend any surgical intervention from 18 years and over, but in the case of eyelids, in most cases, and apart from young people with prominent bags in the lower lids, it is performed on people over 40 years old.
