Recently I have seen two very particular patients who surprised me a great deal. Both had one thing in common. They had been to a Latin American country for an operation and both had returned with surgeries that they did not want. I couldn\u2019t believe it. How is it even possible?<\/p>\n
Well yes. One of them went to have one surgery and came out with 3 more. And the other went to have a reduction surgery and they did an enhancement. I still couldn\u2019t believe what I was hearing. Something like that here would lead to a court case.<\/p>\n
On top of this, things did not go well for either patient. So now how do you reclaim from a surgeon that is 10000 kilometres away with a 6 hour time difference? You don\u2019t go back. And what at first has allowed you to save a few pennies (because it\u2019s not more than that even if you think it is), turns into a nightmare, an unpleasantness, frustration and a cost that, in the best case scenario will only be doubled.<\/p>\n
My advice. Do not go to another country. We have extremely experimented doctors and hospitals that countries so \u2018advanced\u2019 like the United Kingdom and Italy wish they had. Do not skimp on your health. Buy the TV online if it\u2019s cheaper than El Corte Ingl\u00e9s, but in a surgery, do not skimp, as you are putting at risk the only important thing you have, which is your health.
