Today, we present you with a very exceptional case. I say exceptional because the patient was treated in two other centers where she previously had two other mamary reductions. She came to us for a third.

When you carry out surgical operations like this, you dont know exactly what the former colleagues have done. There are many techniques for mamary reductions described. All of them have in common, to try and preserve the oxigenation of the areola. It is safer to use the same technique as previously used, so that the survival of the areola is greater. And thats what we did.

The technique used was Superior Pediculum by M. Lejour. A technique tremendously useful, and with slight variations we can almost always use it.

We removed a lot of skin, all that we could, but the stretch marks above the areola we couldnt remove. We reduced the areolas. The patient is very satisfied with the result and so am I.
