More and more often, we receive at our clinic, patients who years ago had
implants put in and now want them removed for ever. This means they are left with what they had before. This is done for multiple reasons, The majority of the patients not because they are tired of having a chest too big, but because they have had previous problems with the implants and many others, because they have reached an age where they dont want to be worrying about their implants and certainly not at maybe 70-75-80 years old having to undergo surgery once again for this issue.

Today we present you with a case of a patient who felt that her breasts were too large for her. She wanted them removed. She had very large areolas and wanted nothing more to do with the implants. When you remove the implants, there is excess skin so we need to reconstruct the structures that remain to recreate the breasts.

As for the result in size, what is left is what the patient originally had. We could put some fat in but for very slim patients its dificult to take a graft of sufficient quantity.
