Its a relatively simple surgery, which is usually done under sedation in the hospital and after surgery, the patient can go straight home. Its not painfull, but its uncomfortable, because of the tightness of the eyelids, slight bruising, the stitches are annoying and you need to apply eyedrops and cream inside the eye before going to bed every night for at least 7-10 days.
