I am very fortunate to operate on many Brits. As we speak English quite well and they don’t usually speak Spanish, when they come to us and feel understood and they understand what is being explained to them, since many of the British are seriously considering plastic surgery, we operate on them.

One of the surgeries that is most requested is the arm lift. And curiously one thing happens. Many of the patients who request an arm lift do it not only because of what hangs on them but because of the wrinkles that excess skin causes in the part of the arms that are seen when lowered or when we are sitting. They don’t like that at all because it makes them look very old.

It is true that the scars on the inner side of the arms are sometimes ugly. It is true that the more time that passes the less noticeable it is, but it is also true that the patients who usually ask for it are older patients and the older ones, most of the time, heal excellently.
